There have been several cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) across campus over the past week. Coxsackievirus is the most common cause of HFMD and is a contagious viral infection that causes painful sores on the hands, feet, and mouth. Most cases resolve within a week and do not need medication attention.

Among the state’s four winners of this year’s Governor’s Award for High-Impact Research are the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) and the JILA physics institute, both at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder. The award, administered by the CO-LABS consortium, celebrates the groundbreaking work of scientists and engineers from ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s federal research labs.

University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder Property Services will hold a public auction of surplus property and equipment on Saturday, Sept. 10. Items will be available for preview beginning at 8 a.m. and the auction will begin at 9 a.m.

David L. Ikenberry announced today that he has reconsidered and will decline an offer to be reappointed as dean of the Leeds School of Business through 2021. Ikenberry will join the Leeds faculty.

On Friday, Aug. 19, the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder’s Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) discovered that its storage trailer had been stolen out of an East Campus parking lot in the area of 3100 Marine St. Anyone with information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to call the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder Police Department at 303-492-6666.
