Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) Splits
Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) may be split between units at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder through an ICR Split Agreement. These agreements detail how indirect costs on a sponsored project will be split between the units. These are commonly used when project personnel from multiple departments are involved.
Agreements may either be project-specific or in the form of a standing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the units.
The Campus Controller’s Office (CCO) manages all ICR splits. ICR splits should be documented and submitted to CCO using theÌýICR Split Request Form.Ìý
Situations that do not automatically create splits include:
- Multiple participating units listed on the Office of Contract and Grants' Proposal Submission Request Form
- Multiple budgets created for a sponsored project due to needing to use multiple SpeedTypes
