Scholarships help ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law attract the best and most promising applicants and ensure that deserving students can pursue a ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law education. As tuition costs have risen considerably, it is more important than ever that we provide financial support to our students and make legal education as affordable as possible.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law has more than 100 named scholarships, including funds in honor or memory of our recent past deans. A wonderful way to "pay it forward" is to make a gift in honor or memory of a favorite dean.

Creating a Named Scholarship
Establishing a named scholarship at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law is easy to do. You can work with classmates to establish a class scholarship, endow one in memory of a loved one important mentor, or give back by leaving your own legacy at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law. You can work with ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law to establish criteria for your scholarship to help the Financial Aid Committee select recipients each year.
Endowed scholarships require a minimum commitment of $50,000 that can be paid over up to five consecutive years. Endowments are permanently invested by the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Foundation, generating interest that is used each year for scholarships. about endowments.
Current scholarships, which are awarded immediately, require a minimum commitment of $25,000, which can be paid over five years. For example, the current named scholarship can be created though a five-year, $5,000 per year pledge ($25,000). Each year the donor would give $5,000 to be awarded that year as a named scholarship. After the initial five-year commitment, donors can continue their scholarships by making annual contributions of at least $5,000.
