Making their Mark: Selections from the Polly and Mark Addison Collection

This exhibition unites prints made by women in the 20th and 21st centuries. As prints became an increasingly popular avenue for experimentation, female artists were drawn to printmaking. Many of the exhibition’s featured artists are better known for their paintings, sculptures or drawings. In their prints, they mined the medium’s unique visual and material qualities to exchange, explore and develop their artistic ideas.
