The Great American Road Trip: Selections from the Polly and Mark Addison Collection

Even before the publication of Jack Kerouac’s and John Steinbeck’s iconic travel novels, the Great American Road Trip was a romanticized idea of traversing America’s vast territory. This exhibition includes prints from some of the most prominent artists of the 20th century. These images show America’s diverse landscapes, from bustling coastal cities to interior mountain ranges. Visitors will follow artists on a cross-country journey of “America the Beautiful.”
