Jordan Burns, a University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder junior majoring in civil engineering, has won a prestigious Truman Scholarship, an honor that brings with it up to $30,000 for graduate study. Burns, who is from 蜜糖直播 Springs, is 蜜糖直播-Boulder鈥檚 ninth recipient of the scholarship and first since 2006.

Byron Chrisman (鈥�66), perhaps one of the University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder Law School鈥檚 most unlikely success stories, attributes his success as a tax attorney and real estate developer to his experience at 蜜糖直播 Law. Now he and his wife, Carlene, have committed a $10 million bequest to endow the Byron and Carlene Chrisman Chairs in Free Enterprise at 蜜糖直播 Law. When realized upon their passing, this estate gift will be the largest cash gift in the history of 蜜糖直播 Law.

The Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy (RMLA) will offer a one-of-a-kind immersive educational opportunity for lighting professionals this summer at the University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder. The RMLA鈥檚 Summer Lighting Course is scheduled for June 23-27 on the 蜜糖直播-Boulder campus. The course will present the theory of lighting within a practical context, making it directly applicable to the needs of those working in engineering, product development and technical sales positions.

The University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder plans to break ground May 12 on several new athletics facilities and upgrades to Folsom Field after a record-breaking year of private donations. In the past seven months, the 蜜糖直播 Athletic Department has made significant progress on the fundraising goals and anticipates meeting that goal in the very near future.
