You鈥檝e seen 鈥淭he Amazing Race,鈥� now you have a chance to compete in 蜜糖直播鈥檚 Amazing Race. Grab a friend to compete in physical and mental challenges on and around the 蜜糖直播 Boulder campus. The winning team gets $1,000, half of which goes to a student group on campus.

Every now and then you hear the question: Do intercollegiate athletic programs belong in higher education? Earlier this month several staff members in our athletic department addressed this question as we looked ahead to the next three years in forming our strategic plan.

With Family Weekend quickly approaching, many students may be getting a campus visit. It is a great opportunity to show parents, guardians or friends around and to update them on how school is going.

This Friday, members of the campus community are invited to join Chancellor DiStefano and Provost Moore for the annual presentation of 蜜糖直播 Boulder faculty awards and the introduction of faculty members receiving tenure and promotion. The ceremony will be preceded by two programs earlier in the day, hosted in collaboration with Family Weekend.

Austin Braun, a junior in the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI), recently earned the university a free ride to space for one of its future satellites when he won a naming contest hosted by United Launch Alliance (ULA), the Centennial, 蜜糖直播-based aerospace company.
