On May 21, Chancellor DiStefano hosted a faculty town hall with fellow panelists, addressing the challenges of this past spring semester and key planning areas for the 2020-21 academic year.

Provost Russell Moore has named Akirah J. Bradley vice chancellor for student affairs, effective June 1 and pending the approval of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents. Bradley has served at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder since 2016 and was appointed interim vice chancellor for student affairs in January.

At its meeting on May 19, which was hosted remotely, the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents voted to approve a zero percent increase in tuition and fees for the 2020–21 academic year, a suspension of merit increases for fiscal year 2021 and more.

The University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents received updates on the state budget and university system, as well as campus budget scenarios on Wednesday, April 29.

Via a virtual meeting on April 16, university operational impacts, as well as state and university budgets, were presented and discussed with the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents.

At its meeting on April 2, the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents heard an update on COVID-19 impacts on university operations and state and university budgets, approved name changes to seven degrees at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder and more.

As a follow-up on efforts to improve campus anti-racism policies, resources and training for the community, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥SG Director of Diversity and Inclusion Olivia Gardner and Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement Bob Boswell are sharing an update on progress, action items and next steps.

A preliminary budget review at the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents meeting on Feb. 14 included a proposal for tuition and fees and a compensation pool for faculty and staff that is expected to be finalized at the April board meeting.

The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Board of Regents meeting on Feb. 13 included a presentation on a recently announced housing down payment employee assistance program, a resolution on civics education, approval of four capital construction projects and more.

Provost Russell Moore has made the interim appointment of Akirah Bradley as vice chancellor of student affairs, effective Jan. 13. Her appointment follows Christina Gonzales' leadership of the division.
