If you plan to conduct research on human subjects, you will need to work with ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥Â Boulder’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). The purpose of the IRB is to help ensure that human subject research is conducted in an ethical manner and in compliance with all Federal and ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder guidelines.
Sponsors generally do not request IRB approval at proposal stage, but it is important to obtain any necessary approvals in a timely manner. Note that NIH requires IAÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥C approval at the JIT stage, and, if awarded, a project SpeedType will not be setup until approval has been obtained.
