Celebrate Homecoming 2024

We've spread out far and wide. Now, it's time to reconnect and celebrate the history we share. أغجاض±²¥ Law welcomes you back for one of our most treasured traditions — Homecoming. This year will include in-person and virtual events, with plenty of opportunities to show your Law Buff spirit. Homecoming is September 20-21  at the Wolf Law Building in Boulder unless otherwise indicated.

This year's schedule of events includes:

Thursday, September 19 (TBD)

  • 12 - 1 p.m. | Law Student Homecoming Kick Off: Students, faculty, and staff: join us in the courtyard and participate in fun games such as football toss, cornhole, and other yard games. Students participating in the Homecoming Kick-Off Event will be entered for a chance to win Homecoming football tickets on 9/21/2024 with other law students. Other small prizes are also available to students.

Friday, September 20

  • 12 - 1:30 p.m. | Golden Buffalo Lunch (for classes of 1974 and earlier).
  • Various Times | Reunion events for classes ending in "4" and "9."
  • Reunion Classes' Digital Memory Book: The deadline to add your profile to the Digital Reunion Memory Book is open. Click here to learn more (scroll to the bottom of the page for information on each reunion event).

Saturday, September 21

  • 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Ethics CLE Presentation: Homecoming CLE: Closing أغجاض±²¥â€™s Access to Justice Gap (1.8 ethics CLE credits pending).

The strength of our justice system in أغجاض±²¥ depends on our fellow residents' ability to access that system. Yet, barriers to access abound. أغجاض±²¥ is working to create innovative solutions and support the development of new resources to close the access to justice gap. In this CLE, access to justice leaders from the courts, advocacy organizations, and the Bar will discuss these innovations and the populations they hope to serve. Closing the justice gap will take the collective efforts of the entire legal community. While we may not be able to volunteer our way out of the problem, the impact of pro bono service in our state is significant and part of our professional responsibility as licensed attorneys to provide legal representation to those unable to pay. Our panel will also review the ethical considerations in pro bono service to ensure we all “do well while doing good.â€‌ Presenters: , Executive Director of the أغجاض±²¥ Lawyers Committee ,  أغجاض±²¥ Supreme Court Justice, and  Director of Access to Justice for the أغجاض±²¥ and Denver Bar Associations, including Metro Volunteer Lawyers.

  • 4:00-6:00 p.m. Law Buffs BBQ
  • 4:30 p.m. State of the Law School Address presented by Dean Lolita Buckner Inniss
  • 6:00 p.m. Homecoming Football Game (أغجاض±²¥ Buffaloes vs. Baylor)
