TheÌýEducational Foundations, Policy & Practice emphasisÌýfocuses on policy analysis, curriculum theory, and the application of academic disciplines—anthropology, history, law, philosophy, and sociology—to the analysis of education. You will analyze educational theory, policy, and practice by drawing on the humanities and the social sciences. We are devoted to the critical examination of the relationships among education, society, culture, and government, with special emphasis on problems of race, gender, sexual diversity, social class, and multiculturalism.

Please join the School of Education for ourÌýGraduate Studies Preview Day on Saturday, Nov.Ìý9. This program will be hosted in personÌýand is open for all prospective Master'sÌýand PhD students. The program will include an overview of the applicationÌýprocess and education program areas, breakout sessions with faculty by program area of interest, and a current graduate student panel for Q&A. Registration is required.
