The accomplishments of our faculty in scholarship are also many and varied. They have been recognized by awards and honors ranging from book prizes to prestigious extramural fellowships to intramural honors such as the Boulder Faculty Assembly's Award for Excellence in Research. Areas of specialization span Greek and Latin literature and include Greek philosophy, Greek and Roman history, and Near Eastern, Greek, and Roman art and archaeology.
