Spring 2025 Site Visit - ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ College

Ìý

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ College

Ìý

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ College, founded in 1874, is a private, liberal arts college. Its Block Plan creates several philosophical and functional distinctions. During a block, students take a class from a professor who teaches only one class. Classes are small (typically 15 students) permitting intense discussion, collaborative research and scholarship.Ìý

The 90-acre campus location at the foot of the Rocky Mountains reflects a western campus spirit: creative, risk-taking and independent. The fine arts center of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Springs is located adjacent to the campus, and students can attend most events free. The combination of location and schedules permits extensive field study, with over 40% of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ College students taking field trips for class.
