Course Overview
The Anti-Racism Canvas Course is a flexible, semester-long program designed to help ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder staff, faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and students develop the skills and understanding needed to create equitable learning environments. This course combines expert-curated content with actionable exercises to create meaningful change.
Modules at a Glance
The course includes six modules:
- Racial Identity Awareness: Examine how racial identity shapes perceptions and interactions.
- Recognizing Bias: Identify and address implicit and explicit biases.
- Systems of Oppression: Understand structural inequities and their impacts.
- Understanding Intersectionality: Explore how overlapping identities influence privilege and oppression.
- Representation Matters: Highlight the importance of diversity in educational materials and spaces.
- Campus Resources & Exercises: Access practical tools and protocols to promote equity.
