There are many ways to get started with undergraduate research and creative work while expanding your skillset! We invite you to explore options in Boulder and beyond in our Curiosity Lab workshops —and check for Open Opportunities.
We offer grants to support undergraduate projects in all fields of study and professional practice. Students can apply for funding to help mentors and develop projects, and faculty can secure funding to support student teams.
We pay student and faculty grants using different methods, and some applicants will need to complete steps to receive their payment. Recipients should plan ahead to complete these steps and mark their calendars with reminders.
We regularly survey grant recipients and program participants about their experiences and learning outcomes while encouraging continued professional development with next steps for students and mentors—regardless of UROP funding.
