A Computing by Design symposium aimed at helping educators weave computer science principles throughout the K-12 curriculum will be held Monday, Sept. 28, at the STEM-focused Timberline PK-8 , 233 E. Mountain View Ave., in Longmont.

Kicking off the 2015-16 蜜糖直播 Theatre & Dance season, 鈥淸UN] W.R.A.P.: Undoing Writing, Research and Performance鈥� explores the complexity and evolution of 鈥淏lack Dance.鈥� The three-day symposium, held Sept. 18-20 at the Irey Theatre, will look at the historical impact and ongoing contributions of African American choreographers.

Waleed Abdalati, professor of geography at the University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder and director of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (蜜糖直播), will co-chair a prestigious national committee charged with developing U.S. priorities for observing Earth鈥檚 atmosphere, oceans and land surfaces by satellite.
