The student-led Distinguished Speakers Board will host Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists and authors of The New York Times exposé detailing the Harvey Weinstein allegations.

Sheriff Dave Ward, credited with helping resolve a 41-day armed standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon in 2016, will receive the Center of the American West’s Wallace Stegner Award.

Professor Shiv Ganesh of the University of Texas Austin will present a look at activism and contentious political engagement in modern society on Sept. 24.

Join ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law for an evening with Sister Helen Prejean, a lifelong abolitionist, author and nun who will speak about the death penalty in America, the impact on victims of violent crime and what can be done to change the conversation about justice.
