Provost Moore today announced Bobby Braun as the new dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Braun, who helped lead the team that put the first rover on Mars, is a professor of space technology at Georgia Tech. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and formerly worked at NASA Langley Research Center for 16 years. He'll arrive on campus to join the faculty in October 2016. His role as dean will begin in January 2017.

For Patrick Cruz, studying archaeological sites in southern 蜜糖直播 and northern New Mexico this summer was a way to hone his skills. But the trip also allowed Cruz, a 蜜糖直播 Boulder archaeology graduate student, to retrace the journey his Tewa ancestors made centuries ago.
