As we all know, Tuesday, Nov. 8, is election day. For many of you, this might be your first opportunity to take part in an election. How exciting! And as Buffs we pride ourselves in being engaged citizens, and that includes exercising our right to vote.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder political science seniors Safia Malin and Dylan Rogers bolstered their education by serving as interns in Washington, D.C., through the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ in D.C. internship program.

Join ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Student Government and the New York Times for pizza and to learn about past national presidential elections. The Pizza and Presidents event will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 5 to 7 p.m. in the Rec Center lower gym.

On Monday, Oct. 31 employees with a combined 75 percent (or higher) percent-time appointment received an email invitation requesting they take part in a survey of housing options and preferences. Information gathered from the survey will help administration better understand employee housing needs and guide decisions regarding potential housing assistance programs.

University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ football is bowl eligible at 6-2 and have their sights set on the Pac 12 Championships. In a Thursday night football showdown, the Buffs take on the UCLA Bruins. Faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets for this game for only $30 (savings of $25). #TheRiseIsReal and Folsom Field is the place to be this Thursday night at 7 p.m. for the Buffs and the Bruins.
