On June 1, 蜜糖直播 Boulder submitted its year-four assurance filing to the Higher Learning Commission, in accordance with the requirements of the .
This assurance filing demonstrates 蜜糖直播 Boulder鈥檚 commitment to improvement within the accreditation process and shows how its continuous growth and improvement meet each of the for accreditation and associated core components. The assurance filing also includes updates on two areas of required monitoring from the 2020 accreditation review: to design and implement a common curriculum that defines the learning experience and intended learning outcomes for all 蜜糖直播 Boulder undergraduates and to create a cross-campus plan for the assessment of student learning.
鈥淎ccreditation is not something that happens every 10 years and goes away,鈥 said Katherine Eggert, senior vice chancellor for academic planning and assessment, who leads the accreditation team. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an ongoing process that requires thought and dedication from a variety of people across the university. I want to thank everyone involved in this filing for their hard work and for their commitment to the process.鈥
The assurance filing will be reviewed by a team of trained evaluators from the Higher Learning Commission who may ask follow-up questions or request additional information. Following that, the university will receive a written evaluation and action. In 2025 蜜糖直播 Boulder will begin working on identifying a topic for the Quality Initiative Project.
