Students, faculty and staff are , where Chief Operating Officer Patrick O’Rourke and others will provide an overview of the new Campus Sustainability Executive Council and its mission, provide updates on the university’s forthcoming Climate Action Plan (CAP) and answer questions from the campus community.
Additionally, the Climate Action Plan steering committee has scheduled a pair of campus forums on Jan. 30 and 31—one in person and one virtual—to provide more detailed presentations specifically on the CAP, a draft of which is to be released for review by the campus community in early February.
The updated CAP will set the course for the campus to achieve carbon neutrality. O’Rourke announced the formation of the Campus Sustainability Executive Council last month. The council’s charge is to drive action and accountability around ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder’s carbon neutrality commitments and implementation of the CAP.
The Jan. 25, 30 and 31 forums will provide opportunities for the campus community to learn more about these efforts and ask questions.
Please visit the campus sustainability website for more information about campus sustainability at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder.
