Concerts, drone show July 1–4 to bring excitement and crowds

Summertime means fun on the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder campus. This year’s events include Dead & Company concerts July 1–3 and a Fourth of July drone show, all at Folsom Field. Plan ahead for heavy traffic and crowds to get to the fun on time. 

Dead & Company concerts

The Dead & Company band will be performing at Folsom Field July 1–3. Review , including the no-bag event details.

Concert-goers should expect heavy traffic and allow extra time to navigate city and campus streets.

Visit ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder’s Parking and Transportation website for complete details on Dead & Company parking, rideshare drop-off and pick-up information, ADA accessible parking and other transportation options, including information on bus transit, bike sharing and e-scooters.

There will be no commercial vending areas or commercial parking on campus.

Officials recommend rideshares, however public parking permits for Main Campus will be sold the day of the concerts (with payment accepted by credit cardonly). Parking lots open three and a half hours prior to the start of the event.

Fourth of July Spectacular: A Night Sky Drone Show

Those returning to Folsom Field for the will be treated to a night sky . This is the first July Fourth event at Folsom Field since 2019.

The event is free and open to the public. All , including the clear-bag policy, will apply.  

Gates will open at 7 p.m. Live music and entertainment by local bands will begin at 7:10 p.m. and the drone show is expected to start at dark, approximately 9:35 p.m.

Public parking on ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder’s main campus will be free in specific lots. See ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder’s Parking and Transportation’s Fourth of July webpage for more details. Free disability parking will be provided, and parking attendants will be on site to assist.

Free public parking will also be available at the 29th Street Mall, with HOP bus and Buff Bus shuttle service to and from Folsom Field.

There will be a restricted event security zone just north of the stadium, and no through traffic will be permitted between Folsom Street and Euclid Avenue, on ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Avenue and 18th Street.
