A message from the 2021 Senior Class Council president
To begin, I would like to share a bit about the mission behind the Senior Class Council. The SCC board consists of a group of students that is devoted to fostering a sense of community not only among the senior class at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder, but among all students and faculty associated with our university. We will cultivate an environment that is inviting to all by including diverse people, perspectives and ideas. This year, we are also looking forward to finding creative ways to engage our senior class despite the current circumstances.
As a council, we are currently working on selecting the 2021 spring commencement speaker, while also planning the senior class gift, video and social events. Because we pride ourselves on being an organization of students for students, we are seeking to build interclass unity on campus by presenting scholarship funds to underclassmen.
Please look out for more information from us on our Instagram page @cuboulderscc!
Now for a bit about me. I am a senior studying integrative physiology, neuroscience, and leadership. I am deeply committed to mental health and service in our community, and I will continue to seek new avenues to support individuals in and around our campus. I am looking forward to being a voice of optimism and reason for our graduating seniors.
I believe we have been given a unique opportunity to remain positive when the world is giving us every reason to feel discouraged. We must lean on one another and help our neighbors. Support comes in many forms (whether that is in person or online), and I am confident that the senior class has the grit and determination to make the most of our time left together as students. Remember that you are not alone during these times, and there are many resources available to you if you feel as though you would appreciate additional support.
Although the end is near, and you may not be a forever student, we are all Forever Buffs.
Sincerely,
Allie Reuter
President of Senior Class Council
