TEDxÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥TEDxÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, an independently-organized annual TED event, is seeking applicantsÌýto speakÌýat this year's spring 2017 occurrence. Students, faculty and community members who are experts on specific topics related to the theme "Chain Reaction: From Ideas to Revolution" are highly encouraged to .

Past speakersÌýrepresent ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥Ìýstudents, alumni, faculty, staffÌýand community members.

In the fall of 2012, two students and an alumnus of the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder sought to createÌýan evening of thought-provoking talks that wouldÌýserve as a connecting platform for the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ and theÌýcommunity of Boulder—both of which are thought leaders within their respective arenas and have a lot to offer one another.

Today, TEDxÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ is a collaborative student organization between the College of Media, Communication and Information and the Leeds School of Business scholars program.

The event, which is completelyÌýorganized by current and former ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ students, has now had threeÌýsuccessful runs. TEDxÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥Ìýlooks to build a long-standing tradition that organizers, studentsÌýand the surrounding community can look forward to each spring.

TEDxÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ 2017Ìýwill take place on Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Old Main.
