Gov. Bill Owens will be the keynote speaker at the 2002 ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Real Estate Council Annual Conference, "2002: Finding the Silver Lining."

Owens will discuss the growth, education and transportation issues facing ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥.

The conference is Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Denver Marriott City Center, 1701 California St.

Presented by the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥-Boulder Leeds School of Business Real Estate Center, the conference will bring together ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥'s most influential real estate professionals to discuss how to build long-term viability in challenging economic times. Other topics to be covered include current real estate trends in the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ market and how ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ compares to other markets.

The conference is free to ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Real Estate Council members and is $175 for nonmembers. Attendance at the conference satisfies State of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ real estate and AIA continuing education requirements.

The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Real Estate Center provides real estate curriculum at the graduate and undergraduate levels, develops real estate internships for students and fosters relationships between professionals and the university.
