The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Court of Appeals will hear arguments in the Lindsley Memorial Courtroom at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ at Boulder School of Law March 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Students will get a chance to hear oral arguments, ask the presiding judges questions and attend a reception afterward in the Moorhead-Rutledge Lounge.

"This is a unique opportunity for students to ask the participants questions since that chance almost never comes up once students get into practice," said James B. Levy, a legal writing instructor at the law school.

One of the three presiding judges, Claus Hume, is a 1965 alumnus of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ law school.

Prior to the oral arguments, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥'s Career Services will sponsor a Judicial Clerkship brownbag luncheon with students in room 154 of the law school from noon to 12:50 p.m.

The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Court of Appeals is the second highest state court, behind the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Supreme Court, and normally hears cases at the Court of Appeals Courthouse in Denver.
