ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Latino Advocacy and the United Mexican American Students (UMAS) at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ at Boulder are sponsoring "Reliving El Corrido," with singer and Mexican American musicologist Dr. Jesus "Chuy" Negrete on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. in room 150 of the Humanities Building on campus.

Negrete, founder and director of the Mexican Cultural Institute in Chicago, will perform and interpret Mexican American folk music during the presentation. He has dedicated his life to the preservation and encouragement of Mexican American Folkways and the family through cultural and educational programming.
