The car show will feature all types of street and race cars -- exotic and classic, foreign and domestic. Awards will be given at the end of the show. The event also will include a silent auction, food and T-shirt sales.
Proceeds will benefit the project race car of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers, which will be on display at the show. The event is co-sponsored by the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ department of mechanical engineering and Checker Auto Parts.
Entry is free for spectators. Early registration for cars is $12 (before Sept. 18); late registration is $15. ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ students may enter cars at no charge. Car check-in will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Sept. 24. For more information, call (303) 473-9272 or go to .
