Robert Schulzinger, professor of history and director of the international affairs program at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ at Boulder, has been elected president of the Society of Historians of American Foreign Relations for 2000.
SHAFR is an international organization with approximately 1,800 members. It is the principal scholarly society for the study of international history. Schulzinger will deliver the presidential address at SHAFR's annual meeting in Toronto in June.
Schulzinger has been at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥-Boulder since 1977. He specializes in American foreign policy and the history and politics of Vietnam.
