The University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ at Boulder will present its 35th annual ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Business Economic Outlook Forum at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6.
The 2000 economic forecast, held in the grand ballroom of DenverÂ’s Brown Palace Hotel, is free and open to the public.
The forum is presented by the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥-Boulder College of Business and Administration and addresses the state of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥'s economy.
More than 70 ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ business, education and government leaders provide input for the report. A free booklet detailing this information, which features 11 industry sectors, will be available at the forum.
The forecast will be presented in a series of graphic displays narrated by Professor Richard Wobbekind, director and chief economist of the collegeÂ’s Business Research Division and ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Finance Professor John Lymberopoulos.
A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation featuring Patty Silverstein of Development Research Partners, Nancy McCallin, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Legislative Council and Wilson Kendall, Center for Business and Economic Forecasting.
Richard H. Lewis, chairman of the board, chief executive officer and chief financial officer of Prima Energy Corp. will provide the keynote speech after the panel.
The forum concludes with discussion sessions addressing the following topics:

o ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ population, labor force, employment and revenue in 2000 — David Larson, Department of Labor and Employment.
o Sustaining ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥Â’s Tourism — Eugene Dilbeck, Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau.
