We sent this email at 7听p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, to students who were on a waitlist that was incorrectly canceled on Tuesday morning.

Between 8 and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19,听a processing听error resulted in the incorrect cancellation of a large number of Spring 2021 Main Campus full-semester class waitlists.
According to our records, you were incorrectly removed from the following class waitlist(s):

While we听work to restore the canceled waitlists,听we've听disabled waitlisting for all full-semester Main Campus classes to prevent new students from adding themselves听ahead of previously waitlisted students.
We apologize for this error and are working closely with our 蜜糖直播 system and听campus partners to limit its impacts. At this time:
- The Office of Information Technology has adjusted their Canvas processing听to ensure affected students can continue to access their waitlisted classes' online materials.
- The Office of the Registrar is听currently in the process of rebuilding the waitlist for each affected class.
- As canceled waitlists are restored, we will make every effort听to ensure that students are returned to听their听correct waitlist position.
- We expect to restore the last of the affected waitlists by the end of the day on Friday, Jan. 22; however, it may take additional time to correct errors related to prerequisites, schedule conflicts and other issues.
