Two #MusicBuffs among 鈥榗omposers and performers to watch鈥�: Recently, The Washington Post listed 鈥�22 composers and performers to watch in 2022.鈥� Included were two 蜜糖直播 Boulder College of Music students: Kedrick Armstrong, a first-year master鈥檚 student in orchestral conducting and composer Anthony Green, who attended our Doctor of Musical Arts program. Be inspired by the impressive trajectory of their careers and learn how both confront issues of diversity in classical conservatory curriculum. 鈥淚t鈥檚 important for schools to dig in as innovators and leaders in preparing musicians,鈥� says Armstrong, reflecting on the College of Music鈥檚 commitment to diversity.

• Rebecca Maloy, a professor of musicology and director of the Center for Medieval and Early Modern Studies, will deliver her in-person lecture 鈥淐onstructing Sanctity Through Sound in Early Medieval Iberia鈥� on March 8. Maloy is a recipient of the 2021-22 Distinguished Research Lectureship!听
• At the (virtual) annual meeting of the this week,听Professor of Musicology Laurie Sampsel will deliver a presentation on Friday, March 4: 鈥淭he West Through Sheet Music鈥� will highlight the sheet music of 蜜糖直播 composer Estelle Philleo.听
