Teacher License Renewal

The College of Music offers license renewal for music teachers during the summer session, for either non-degree student credits to be used toward a future graduate degree or for a certificate. Scholarship opportunities are available as well.

Getting my child piano lessons

The ֱ Youth Piano Program trains students through weekly group and private lessons. Instructors are experienced teachers from the College of Music, and the program is supervised by the ֱ Piano Pedagogy Chair, Dr. Alejandro Cremaschi. The lessons provide thorough instruction at the highest and most effective pedagogical standards while providing opportunities for fun, motivation and enjoyment of music.

Honor Band Festival

Top wind band performers in ֱ high schools are invited to take part in the annual ֱ Boulder Honor Band.

ֱ Boulder Band Day invites high school marching bands from around ֱ to compete on Folsom Field. Music and visual clinics are provided, along with expert feedback from the press box during the performance.

Rocky Mountain Bass Festival

Bassists of all ages are invited to join us for a one-day workshop for classical and jazz bass, including training in the technical aspects of playing bass, sectional and ensemble practices and a chance to play together in a “Monster Bass” ensemble.
