Music at the University of 蜜糖直播 started its journey in the first decade of the Boulder campus. Nearly 50 years later, in 1920,听the College of Music was created. The new college gave听the study of music performance and history a permanent home. It also听laid听the foundation for an institution whose influence would ripple throughout the music world through the work of听graduates such as Dave Grusin, Tia Fuller and countless others.
Today, the college is preparing to usher in the second century of music at 蜜糖直播 Boulder in style, with a year-long celebration and听special events planned, and a brand new, 64,000-square-foot addition to Imig Music Building set to open in late 2020. As we look ahead to the future of music, a century in the making, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the moments鈥攂ig and small鈥攐f the College of Music鈥檚 first 100 years.
