MCDB's Logo
Our logo is composed from four images meant to thematically represent the underlying words: "Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology":
- M — an image byÌýAlex Stemm-Wolf while working in the Winey labÌýof a Tetrahymena stained with 2 different centrin antibodies.
- C — an image of cells with a wide variety of fluorescent markers by Chris English while getting his degree in the JonesÌýlab.
- D — one of Professor Mike Klymkowsky's fabulousÌýimages of a developing frog.
- B — Earth, thanks to WikiCommons.
Helena Ton did most of the image editing while workingÌýfor the department as an IT technicianÌý(2014-2016). The logo was chosen by the faculty from severalÌýdeveloped at the time.

Since creating our logo in 2014 the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ hasÌýdeveloped a system wide branding.ÌýYou can downloadÌýthe campus approved Brand for use in all official documents and media. While we are all proud of our department, please consider our logo unofficial.
