The David L. DiLaura Industry Professor of Architectural Engineering Fellowship
The Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering Department faces the extraordinary challenge of academic and programmatic growth during these tough economic times, and we at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ (ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥) are compelled and prepared to engage these challenges. As the Department Chair, I would like to reaffirm that the Lighting Program is essential to the Department’s academic mission, and The David L. DiLaura Industry Professor of Architectural Engineering Fellowship is a high priority. As one of the top undergraduate lighting and illumination engineering programs in the country, we find ourselves in a unique position to strengthen our status with the addition of this Fellowship.Ìý
David has been a leader in both academia and industry. As a former student of his and now as the Department Chair, I remain committed to our long-standing investment in the future of lighting and the twenty six-plus years David has dedicated to creating an identity of high achievement in lighting at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. I invite you to join us in making a financial commitment in this campaign to strengthen the Lighting Program at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ and honor the years of work by David DiLaura.
Thank you to those alumni and friends who have helped create this website and given us a wonderful head start in achieving our financial goals. Your long hours and dedication serves as a springboard to our future success.
Sincerely,
Keith Molenaar
