On Feb. 24, University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law School Provost Professor of Law Suzette Malveaux testified before the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Senate Judiciary Committee in support of the CROWN Act of 2020. The CROWN Act ("Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair Act of 2020") addresses discrimination on the basis of hair, a particularly pernicious form of race discrimination against African-American women and girls.

After noticing an increasing trend of controversial national injunctions, the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Law School faculty decided it was time to unpack major issues surrounding immigration, health care and custody of children at the U.S.-Mexico border.
