The New Employee Welcome Experience (New-X) is part of the comprehensive, year-long onboarding experience designed to increase the understanding of 蜜糖直播 Boulder鈥檚 history, organization, operations, and mission. There is no cost to attend this program.聽

Learning Objectives

At the聽New Employee Welcome Experience, participants will:

  • Gain knowledge of the history of 蜜糖直播 Boulder
  • Connect with other new 蜜糖直播 Boulder employees
  • Begin to build affinity with 蜜糖直播 Boulder

Who Should Attend

Due to limited capacity, the program is offered to new, permanent employees.

  • Ideally for hires in their first few聽months聽of employment, however, the program is designed for hires to attend within their first year at 蜜糖直播 Boulder
  • Rehires that have聽been away for three or more years
  • Student employees聽who are hired into permanent staff or faculty聽positions聽
  • Temporary employees who are hired into聽permanent staff or faculty聽positions

What to Expect

The session includes:聽

  • An overview of 蜜糖直播 Boulder and System
  • Tour of the 蜜糖直播 Art Museum
  • Lunch provided by our partners at Elevations Credit Union
  • Main campus聽tour
  • Executive leader meet and greet

Participants should be prepared to:聽

  • Traverse about 2.25聽miles total.聽If you require an accommodation, please let us know by contacting聽苍别飞补迟肠耻蔼肠辞濒辞谤补诲辞.别诲耻听by聽the close of business one week prior to the session and we will follow up with you to determine an accommodation to meet your needs.
  • Carry personal items with them for the tour聽
  • Be outdoors in the elements for most聽of the tour

    How to Register

    There are two ways to register:聽

    1. A new employee can 听迟丑别尘蝉别濒惫别蝉.听
    2. A supervisor or onboarding contact聽can email the employee's name and requested session date to newatcu@colorado.edu to ask for the new employee to be registered.
      • The employee must have an official start date and an approved appointment in the HR system to be registered.聽
      • Employees cannot attend before their start date.聽

    Facilitators

    Virtual Option

    The virtual New Employee Welcome Experience (New-Xv) is offered virtually for those that are working remotely out or state or are unable to travel to campus. The virtual session is available to all new hires regardless of appointment type.聽
