A bachelor of science in Environmental Engineering from ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder offers you the opportunity to combine coursework and hands-on experiences in biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and advanced mathematics for a career in an exciting field that is advancing scientific assessment and engineering solutions to environmental problems impacting our biosphere, land, water and air quality.
ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder has one of the largest environmental engineering programs in America and is top-ten ranked among public universities by U.S. News and World Report. As a student here, you will be surrounded by a campus-wide environmental consciousness as you advance your knowledge through courses in solid mechanics, fluid dynamics and thermal sciences common to all engineering disciplines as well as specific environmental engineering classes on water and wastewater treatment, hazardous waste storage and treatment, and air pollution control.
Our program has an excellent balance of research and educational efforts, and undergraduate students have the opportunity to work with faculty one-on-one through discovery-based learning experiences including research through paid positions, for course credit (such as a senior thesis), or on a voluntary basis.
