- Environmental Design Assistant Professor Shawhin Roudbari recently published the essay "Three Degrees of Ethical Engagement: A Manifesto for Architects" on PLATFORM. - This summer, a design, research and build studio is redesigning a campus parking lot, near the engineering building, to include habitats that will support native bees while improving their visual and ecological function.
- In partnership with the City of Boulder, CEDaR, along with principal investigators Michael Szuberla and Sara Tabatabaie, are analyzing residents’ baseline knowledge of the Emerald Ash Borer and proposing ways to address the infestation through environmental education efforts, as well as public-private partnerships.
