On April 18, 2019, Environmental Design聽Lecturer聽Danielle聽Bilot聽presented her praxis work at the Campus Sustainability Summit for the renovation of 蜜糖直播 parking lots and engaged new campus services into joining the efforts to promote bee diversity. During the recognition ceremony, Travis Torline,聽president of the 蜜糖直播 Bee Club,聽was awarded a Campus Sustainability Award for committed service and leadership within the club.
The 蜜糖直播 Bee Club, along with Bilot as faculty advisor,聽began last August and grew to hundreds of members across campus in less than a year. The club has participated in numerous volunteer events across the greater 蜜糖直播 Campus, as well as聽the City of Boulder, including biodiversity planting days and converting campus caf茅s to use local honey.
