Housing accommodation request deadline: Academic year 2024-2025
University Housing applications open March 4. Students should complete a housing application prior to requesting housing accommodations within Disability Services. For assistance with completing a University Housing application, please contact University Housing at UniversityHousing@colorado.edu or 303-492-6673.
Students who wish to request disability-related housing accommodations should submit their requests to Disability Services before May 27, 2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year. Submitting prior to this deadline increases the likelihood, but does not guarantee, that a room that meets your accommodation needs will be available due to limited space/housing availability. Please note that Disability Services will still review any requests beyond May 27, 2024.
The Housing accommodation team will strive to determine and, for those considered eligible, meet newly arising needs for housing accommodations as soon as reasonably possible given the limited availability of housing options following the assignment process. If accommodated housing is granted, but unavailable, University Housing will communicate next steps to the student.
These deadlines provide Disability Services with time to review requests, communicate with healthcare providers and consider specific housing-related needs before housing assignments are communicated to all ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ students. It is critical that requests and all supporting documentation is received by the posted submission deadline.
Receiving an approval for a housing accommodation through Disability Services does not guarantee the ability to secure a housing contract as these are two separate processes. Disability Services strongly encourages students to complete a University Housing application as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of securing on-campus housing.
