Enrollment, Retention & Graduation

  • The six-year graduation rate for Asian American undergraduate students who enrolled at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder in 2017 and graduated in 2023 or earlier was 79%, a total of 553 students.
  • The six-year graduation rate of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students who enrolled at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder in 2017 and graduated in 2023 or earlier was 77%, a total of 61 students.
  • Of the Asian American students who enrolled at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder in 2022 – 90% returned for their second year of college.
  • Of the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students who enrolled at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder in 2022 – 95% returned for their second year of college, a total of 43 students.
  • Of the 7,546 first-year undergraduate students enrolled at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder in fall 2023 – 11% were Asian American, a total of 843 students; less than 1%, or 50 students, were Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.

Financial Aid & Affordability

  • أغجاض±²¥ Boulder disbursed more than $183 million in financial aid to 12,339 resident undergraduate students, including 1,686 Asian American students and 37 Pacific Islander students in 2022-23.
  • أغجاض±²¥ Boulder disbursed $157 million in financial aid awards to 6,982 nonresident undergraduate students, including 420 Asian American students and 25 Pacific Islander students in 2022-23.
  • The Gary Higa Friendship Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student involved with the Center for Inclusion and Social Change who demonstrates a commitment to the Asian community and/or to the study of Asian culture, education and history.
  • The Glen Nogami Award is awarded to a student who receives financial aid, demonstrates high academic performance and a commitment to the Asian community and/or to the study of Asian culture, education and history.

Precollege Support

The أغجاض±²¥ Boulder Office of Precollege Outreach and Engagement supported 4,247 أغجاض±²¥ middle and high school students between 2017 and 2022, introducing them to academic communities and practices that will help them succeed at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder or at another academic institution in أغجاض±²¥ or beyond.

  • Precollegiate Development supported 1,850 Denver-area middle and high school students between 2017 and 2022, and 4% identified as Asian American or Pacific Islander.
  • Partnership Outreach supported 2,020 students in rural أغجاض±²¥ between 2017 and 2022, and 1% identified as Asian American or Pacific Islander.
  • Precollege Bridge program supported 127 أغجاض±²¥ students who participated in a precollege program and chose to attend أغجاض±²¥ Boulder between 2017 and 2022, and 10% identified as Asian American or Pacific Islander.
