Prepare to graduate by marking your calendar with this year’s important dates and deadlines. Know when you need to apply to graduate, update your diploma name and more to ensure your celebrations go smoothly.
Celebration Dates
- December 19, 2024—Fall 2024 degree conferral date and Recognition ceremonies hosted by colleges, schools, departments and programs
- April 28–May 1, 2025—Grad Days
- 4–7 p.m. May 1, 2025—Grad Bash at Koenig Alumni Center
- May 8, 2025—Commencement 2025 ceremony at Folsom Field and spring degree conferral date
- May 8–10, 2025—Recognition ceremonies hosted by colleges, schools, departments and programs
- August 20, 2025—Summer 2025 degree conferral date
Key Graduation Deadlines
Fall 2024
- October 1, 2024—Last day for graduate and MBA students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- November 1, 2024—Last day for law students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- December 12, 2024—Last day for undergraduates to submit or cancel a graduation application
- January 3, 2025—Deadline for undergraduate, master’s and law students to update diploma name and address
- February 4–April 4, 2025—Diploma delivery window for fall graduates with U.S. addresses
- February 4–May 9, 2025—Diploma delivery window for spring graduates with international addresses
Spring 2025
- February 1, 2025—Last day for graduate and MBA students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 1, 2025—Last day to submit a graduation application to get your name in the 2024–25 commencement program
- April 1, 2025—Last day for law students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- May 1, 2025—Last day for undergraduates to submit or cancel a graduation application
- May 2, 2025—Deadline for doctoral students to update diploma name and address
- May 30, 2025—Deadline for undergraduate, master’s and law students to update diploma name and address
- June 25–August 22, 2025—Diploma delivery window for spring graduates with U.S. addressesÂ
- June 25–September 26, 2025—Diploma delivery window for spring graduates with international addresses
