Bryan C. Taylor (PhD, University of Utah) is a professor of communication. His teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary, spanning the areas of security, media, organizational communication, and qualitative research methods.

He is currently studying the communicative dimensions of nuclear weapons policy, and the role of mimesis in post-9/11 media and security.

He has published widely in humanistic and social science journals, ranging from theQuarterly Journal of Speech, American Literary Historyج‎²¹²ش»هج‎Critical Studies in Media Communicationج‎³ظ´اج‎Communication Theory, Journal of Contemporary Ethnographyج‎and theج‎Journal of Organizational Change Management.

He is co-editor of the volumeج‎Nuclear Legacies: Communication, Controversy, and the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Complexج‎(³¢±ً³و¾±²ش²µ³ظ´ا²ش), The Handbook of Communication and Securityج‎(Routledge), and co-author ofج‎Qualitative Communication Research Methods(³§²¹²µ±ً).ج‎

His research has received awards from three divisions of the National Communication Association, and he is a recipient of أغجاض±²¥-Boulder’s Outstanding Graduate Advising Faculty Award.
