Beyond the classroom
Take a bold approach to your education!
At CMCI, you’ll have opportunities to gain early career experience, take your education on the road, and earn scholarships and honors to celebrate your hard work.
Gain professional experience for your career by completing internships in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ and beyond. We host monthly career and internship preparation workshops such as resume reviews and interview techniques. These workshops prepare you for CMCI career fairs, where you’ll meet employers looking for students with the skills and knowledge taught in our classes.
ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder Education Abroad offers 400 programs in more than 70 countries, including an advertising and public relations summer study abroad program in Paris led by CMCI faculty. You can go abroad for a semester, a summer or a year. And while there, you can choose an internship or volunteer program in addition to taking classes.
Live, study and intern in the nation’s capital. ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ in DC students intern at an organization that aligns with their career goals while earning course credit. Additional opportunities include field trips, guest lectures and networking events.
CMCI students can graduate with a Latin honors designation (cum laude, magna cum laude and summa cum laude) by completing an honors project during their senior year.
This program invites high-achieving first-year students to engage in skill-based workshops, attend networking events and meet the dean.
First-year students are automatically considered for CMCI merit scholarships based on their academic achievement in high school. Continuing students have opportunities to apply for scholarships based on academic achievement, professional focus and financial need.
