The Basics

• 蜜糖直播 uses a vote-by-mail system for all elections and has since 2013. The state is in vote-by-mail elections and security.
• 蜜糖直播 permits online voter registration. Whether you鈥檙e voting in 蜜糖直播 or via absentee ballot from your home state, there is a specific way you must list your on-campus address in your voter registration so your ballot can find you. View this from Boulder County to learn more.
• If voting in person, voters are required to present at the polls.
• 蜜糖直播 allows same-day voter registration and early voting same-day registration. If you want to vote in-person on Nov. 3 and haven't registered yet, you'll be able to do so at the Vote Center where you cast your ballot.听

Voting and Ballot Information

• Ballots will be mailed beginning on Oct. 9. You can vote immediately once you receive your ballot.听
• If you prefer to vote in person, Vote Centers (including on-campus at the University Memorial Center) will open on Oct. 19.
• Oct. 26 is the last day to register and still be mailed a ballot. It's also the last day to request that a replacement ballot. If your ballot is damaged, stained or if you made a mistake, you may .
• There are 24-hour ballot drop boxes and USPS post boxes to return your ballot in every county. If voting with a 蜜糖直播 mail ballot on campus, simply drop it off at the 24-hour drop box at the University Memorial Center听(outside near Euclid Avenue) or at Williams Village near the bus stop at 500 30th Street.听
  • These boxes may be used by 蜜糖直播 voters only.
  • Out-of-county ballots will be rerouted to the correct county.

Don鈥檛 be disqualified!

• Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. MT on Nov. 3, 2020 to be counted
• Make sure to sign the back of the envelope
• Use ink and only fill in the bubble that you want to select (like a multiple choice听test!)
• Read the instructions that came with your ballot carefully to avoid common errors that can disqualify your vote, such as leaving stray marks, not completely filling in the bubble, forgetting to sign the back of your ballot or enclosing it in the incorrect envelope
