Seniors shine with CEAS Graduating Student Awards

Five graduating seniors from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering earned Graduating Student Awards from the College of Engineering and Applied Science this year.

“These students represent the very best of the Chemical and Biological Engineering department,” said Senior Instructor and Associate Chair Wendy Young. “Their accomplishments in academics, research and social advocacy has made our department, college and campus richer. I’m proud to have been their instructor these past four years.”

These awards are given to graduating seniors who are nominated by faculty, staff or their fellow students. This year's winners have plans as diverse as their academic and social accomplishments—from continuing their education to entering industry in fields that will benefit from their drive and engineering expertise.

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering will celebrate graduation on Thursday, May 6 at 3 p.m.
