Doodler’s Apartments

Oftentimes in class, at work or in any monotone situation, people doodle. However, only a few find it a necessity. It’s a home, being able to draw freely just odd little things. This piece displays the cumulation of Chong’s imagination into one large doodle. Each building is unique though they all follow similar motifs. For example, the flat base colors or the winding golden pipes. To Chong, these buildings carry all the fun, silly thoughts that people are able to draw into little characters, weird animals or just squiggly lines. If one were to look closely there are fun details at every turn and maybe one can even find where they’d like to stay in any doodler’s apartment. Student Arts Program official selection 2023. Located on the first floor, near The Connection.
