- Keith Julien was a longtime leader in his department and at the university. He made significant contributions to his discipline and also helped engineer the reorganization of the College of Arts and Sciences.
- This May marks the 50th anniversary of the Los Seis de Boulder tragedies, which remain unsolved. In 2019, Jasmine Baetz designed a sculpture in memory of the six killed.
- Known for her heartfelt philanthropy on both local and national levels, Anna Sie left a powerful legacy of impact at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder, including establishing a transformational student scholarship in the College of Music.
- Monique LeBourgeois, a pioneering sleep researcher at أغجاض±²¥ Boulder, helped answer questions about sleep disruptions in children, knowledge that has been helpful to parents.
- A new memorial scholarship in the أغجاض±²¥ Boulder Department of Environmental Studies honors the late Joey Herrin’s nontraditional educational path and love for the natural world.
- At the beginning of the spring semester, أغجاض±²¥'s Infrastructure and Sustainability department lost a cherished colleague. Campus Architect Emeritus Bill Deno, 94, passed away on Feb. 20.
- The University of أغجاض±²¥ Law School and the Getches-Wilkinson Center communities mourn the profound loss of Charles Wilkinson, the Moses Lasky Professor of Law Emeritus and a distinguished professor. Wilkinson passed away surrounded by family on June 6.
- The campus community lost a cherished colleague and treasured friend, Associate Professor of Violin Charles “Chas†Wetherbee. The Boulder Philharmonic's performance on Jan. 22 and the أغجاض±²¥ Boulder College of Music's next Faculty Tuesdays recital on Jan. 24 will be presented in Wetherbee's memory.
- David Bolen, the University of أغجاض±²¥'s first Olympian who went on to have amazing career of accomplishments outside of the sports arena, passed away in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Dec. 10; he was two weeks shy of his 99th birthday.
